Skin Friendly Electrodes- for people with very sensitive skin!
Standard electrode gel is made to be skin friendly. However, as with any material, a small number of people may find it irritating to their skin. Our skin friendly Electrodes are made using a different method than standard clear gel. The blue gel is cross-linked (cured) in a different way than standard gel. The gel is also tackier and may be a useful tool for those with excessive body hair. They should adhere better to their skin after repeated use.

I want to express my gratitude for the "Blue Gel" electrodes! I have been a tens user for a couple of years now, and after about 1 year, I started developing burn-like marks and oozing sores from using my unit. I finally asked my doctor what I could do about that. He said that it was likely that I had developed an allergic reaction to the adhesive on my electrodes. He suggested that I try "hypo-allergenic" pads. I ordered the blue gel electrodes, and I no longer have the problem. I am able to use my tens unit, and help control my pain again. Thanks so much!
